henky
Hello, I love mac so far, I've got all my drivers working (accept for my wireless) but now, when I click software updates, I have the choice to update to 10.4.10, atm my pc is at 10.4.8 I downloaded the JAS sse2 sse3(or something) prepatched ISO, I have not yet used the 10.4.8 to 10.4.9 updater Now should I use software updates to update to 10.4.10? this is a good thing right? or would it render my pc unusable... thnx ! Schweppes
DONT USE SOFTWARE UPDATE !!!!!!!!! you lose your system if you install updates directly from Software Update menu. Look for "How to" in the forum (maybe in The Genius Bar section).

Lactobacillus P
ok what do they mean by: RUN UPGRADE: do not reboot when prompted RESTORE (kernel and a couple Extensions) I do not understand howto run upgrade nor how to restore. Could you explain? Dat betekent dat je de upgrade kunt doen, maar dan niet reboot en handmatig je kernel en extensies met de juiste permissies terugzet en in wezen de update geschikt maakt voor hackintosh. This means that you can perform the upgrade, but that you don't continue to automatically reboot but restore the previously used kernel and extensions with the right permissions. By doing so you make the update working on hackintosh.

Do i just have to follow the commands below it? tnx
