fmaunier
Hello, I've an EpoX EP-9NPA+ SLI Motherboard with a nForce 4 SLI chipset and an AMD Athlon64 3200+@2GHz. I'm running JaS 10.4.8 with PPF1 and PPF2. All works, but not the AC97 Audio (devID : 0x005910de). I followed the guide on the wiki, I can change the volume, but there is no sound. The kernel extensions are loaded: Jupiter:~ fmauneko$ kextstat | grep 'AC97' 59 1 0x29437000 0xd000 0xc000 com.apple.driver.AppleAC97Audio (1.0.0) <58 11> 60 0 0x29444000 0x4000 0x3000 com.apple.driver.AppleAC97AudioIntelICH (1.0.0) <59 16 11> Please help me fmauNeko

Sapam
I followed the instructions on: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=8650 I got the deviceid and vendor id for the section: Step A. Under "Sound, video and game controllers", select "Realtek High Definition Audio". Get Properties and then click on the Detail tab. Record the vendor and device ids. As an example, in this picture, the set of id's are vendor = "10EC" and device = "0882" But There was no "System devices"->"Microsoft UAA Bus Driver For High Definition Audio" to get the device and vendor id for the next section: Step B. Under "System devices", find "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver For High Definition Audio" and also get the vendor and device ids. In this picture, the set of id's are vendor = "8086" and device = "27D8" can anybody help please!!! I got Realteck ALC850
westep23
Sapam, That guide wont work for you you need to use the AppleAC97.kext. To the first poster try to use a different port on you motherboard, Like the Line Out or Mic. Sometimes on hackintosh there swaped around. By the TubGirl releases work really good for amd/nforce
