nothingtoseehere
i totally made it up, i am sorry But i have a hunch something like this has to be released this fall. You didn't accurately show the flames coming out the top from the massive heat build up in that polycarbonate case. Or is it black because of carbon buildup during the burnout? A post fire picture? Or is is running an ultra cool ultra energy efficient ultra powerful Pentium D 2.66 OEM from New Egg? Here let me hit it with the temp gun again Yup still 103(F), Just like always... Nice and cool. Basically only the awesomiest chip intel ever made That netburst - They should bring that technology back its good stuff! 54 bucks for a dual-core, Ya cant go wrong... This processor is easily over clockable to 3.8 ghz (air cooling) i know you all are really just jealous, it's ok. under $170 and i got a machine that does everything a mac pro does... man i am happier then a pign{censored} Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58239-the-new-mac-cube/#findComment-416364 Share on other sites
Priority One
That thing would be so cool if it was released. We've got an old Cube, and it was a fantastic computer (apart from various power button gasket issues). It still works and is still being used. iDerf2006
I am sitting in-front of my super cool Pentium D 805 2.66 From new egg and man... this processor screams it's so dam fast anyone would love this beast. Did you just suggest bringing back netburst? The Core architecture beats the holy camooly out of Netburst anyday, even the low-end E2140 performs better than one of the higher Netburst PDs! You and your raygun. Well, what's the BIOS temperature say, man? Because that thing must have great cooling, seeing as my 2.4GHz Pentium 4 Netburst is running warmer than that, and it's just a single core. Get your facts straight and please stop spewing out bad advice/fantasies. U.C.
So is this an actual Mac being launched soon or just pcharles taking pictures of his own hackintosh? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58239-the-new-mac-cube/#findComment-417643 Share on other sites
iDerf2006
It's just pcharles taking pictures of his own, amazing, better than a Mac Pro, Pentium D Hackintosh. Just for reference, post number three in this topic by pcharles originally said: i totally made it up, i am sorry sad.gif But i have a hunch something like this has to be released this fall. So yes, it's all in his imagination, no matter what his edited post may say. Gary Archer
That b******. Actually it is a mod from macmini where the modder used components from a mac-mini to build a retro-new cube. Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how immature you sounded right there? Listen, mate, solid facts show that you are wrong, as was shown in your first topic about the Pentium D. Those are just the facts, not anyone's opinion. But I am officially done arguing with you, take these as my last words. vbetts
If a pentium D beats a Core 2 duo, then that would mean AMD athlon x2 beats the core 2 duos. Which right now don't. Pentium Ds are crappy dual cores compared to our current dual core cpus.
