erbic
Shift + 2 Should work if Mac OS is set up to use a US keyboard layout. I think it's possible to set it up for a German layout, but I could be wrong. Check in System Preferences. jthemovie
I've had the same problem with my laptop's keyboard (azerty), and because i'm was bored to try each time all the keys of my keyboard, i've installed this software: KeyViewer, it's very usefull because this soft emulate a classic mac keyboard, so when you press any key, you know how to find any special character edit:According to roxen's post, useless to download, the soft is already installed in mac os x ps: for me the Arobase Key (@) is : Windows key and "*" another example: the "+" key is : Shift and "!" thx KeyViewer Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58104-writing-e-mail-where-is-my/#findComment-415390 Share on other sites
roxen
An onscreen Keyboard Viewer is build-in, just enable it in: System Preferences -> International -> Input Menu And check the 'Show input menu in menu bar' checkbox. There you can also change the keyboard settings to mach the hardware. jthemovie
Lol, i haven't noticed that KeyViewer and your tips with keyboard Viewer refer to the same software. Your tips call the program KeyViewer, so indeed, you're right, useless to install KeyViewer because this software is already installed by default on Mac os Thanks to you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58104-writing-e-mail-where-is-my/#findComment-415444 Share on other sites
