Have also tried a NEW HD 10.4.8 and downloaded the trial of just PHOTOSHOP, same exact error... application Photoshop has unexpectedly quit Does anyone have a clue? Beta and Public release were fine and as mentioned, this install for the Design Premium was on a CLEAN OSX 10.4.8 install, so its not a matter of something lingering. Earlier in this week I reinstalled Adobe CS3 Design Premium Volume on my macbook pro. Now every time I click open in either Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign. It will close on me. However, it didn't happen to me before.
