Hi all,

I just installed OSX on my computer. Almost everything works but I need help with my graphics card. I've got an Ati HD2900XT 512mb. I know it's a pretty recent one but maybe using some kind of standard ati driver for PCIe cards... All I need is 1920x1200 resolution at 32bit and opengl. I'm asking too much am I not?

I don't know anything about OSX86 yet but I learn fast. I say this because I'm reading lots of things about getting hardware to work in the forum and I don't understand half of it so if I have to edit files and change permissions, please tell me how to do it.

Thanks.

Well its quite simple. boot up the machine and keep pressing F8 until an OS X boot screen pops up telling hard drive info and telling boot parameters such as -x and -v.

once youre there type "graphics mode"="1920x1200x32" with the quoataion marks. and hit enter.

you should boot up into tht resolution. but no QE/CI will be enabled. you might want to try some new Natit releases just to test it out but dont get your hopes up.

p.s QE and CI are the same as DirectX and Open GL in windows. Without those you cant do much graphical stuff.

what chipset does your mobo have? i could have QE/CI enabled.
