There's even a Digg story on how to camp out for the iPhone "properly"... although I can't find it in the RSS feed. It was there earlier today. Consider that here in Europe it will cost around 500eur. With that money you can build a decent computer, especially once Intel slashes their prices in July. There are plenty of phones to chose from, very nice and cheaper. IMO, moving resources from the computer business to phones, which traditionally is the field of better established companies (Nokia, Motorola...) was one of their silliest moves in the last few years.
