MacWorld has a two part list of what they think are the best games of 2005. Here's the list:

Chessmaster 9000

Close Combat: First to Fight

Cosmo Bots

Doom 3

Jammin’ Racer

Myst V: End of Ages

Star Wars Battlefront

The Sims 2

World of Warcraft

What do you think of this list? Are there any you would add? Any you'd take away?

I wasn't really that impressed with Battlefront, to be honest. I never did the online multiplayer, but as a standalone game the bots were pretty dumb and there wasn't much of a story. Well, there wasn't one. Campaigns were horrible. The ability to :laser: storm troopers was about the only redeeming quality.

Chessmaster is a great game though - tough to improve on it as a chess app.

World of Warcraft is like the best game, and they are making an expansion. Although, they do have their fair share of problems. for instance, wow costs me 15 bux a month, blizzard is making a LOT of money. So why dont they ever fix their servers? My main character is on a server that constantly goes out, and ive tried going to other servers but its still the same story. They need to get some of their motives together before i can recommend the game to anyone else.
