snipazer
Hey everyone, first post. I installed OSx86 in VMware on my Windows Xp desktop. When I boot up, it goes through a bunch of lines of code then stops. Here are the last few lines of code that show up: localhost mDNSResponder: Couldn't read user-specified Computer Name; using default bMacintosh-0000000000000b instead localhost mDNSResponder: Couldn't read user-specified local hostname; using default bMacintosh-0000000000000b.localb instead localhost mDNSResponder: Adding browse domain local. (56: SystemStarter)tfp: failed on 0: And that is it. I really want to get this going so if anyone could give me a hint that would be great. gizmo
that's when the virtual machine doesn find something to boot from and then goes on to start with a PXE boot (boot over LAN) and neither finds a DNS service nor any ftp connection to boot from Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/51383-mac-osx86-wont-boot-in-vmware/#findComment-395447 Share on other sites
