alvin777 Posted May 7, 2007 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Hi. I'd like to put Arctic Silver 5 on my CPU and would want to clean the heatsink to hopefully lower this C2D's temperature. But which is the best cleaner for the heatsink? I can't find a 90%+ pure alchohol anywhere. Which of these avaibale clener is the best for this job: denatured alcohol, acetone. 70% rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, car battery distilled water, deionize/ionized distilled water, if you know other cleaners just mention.
