sh0td0wn
YAY! My first post! LOL! Well I'm running a: ASUS A8M2N-NodusM MB AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2GB DDR2-400 533mhz 250GB Samsung SP2504C SATA II 300 7200rpm nVidia GeForce 6150 LE (Integrated) I booted from the disk and got the error, "Still waiting for root device." and "IOUSBMassStorage Class" no kernel depedency. There are a lot of the SAM multimedia read/write errors, too. JaS Hackintosh 10.4.8 Note: I looked at Device manager and didn't see the "SATA Controller" but when I opened SiSoft Sandra, it showed I had a SATA HDD. Please help. spartango
there are lots of sata problems, look at other threads. By the way, is your DVD drive sata? that could be a problem. In the bios setting sata mode to IDE or legacy will help. boot with parameters too.
sh0td0wn
My BIOS is locked shut. I can't do nothing but change date and the primary/secondary master/slave thing... I think I have an SATA drive too.
