I Just Installed Final Cut Pro 5 And When I Launch It It Suddenly Quits. Any Ideas Why? Do U Need The Crash Log File?

Also To Install I Had To Remove The InstallationCheck File

Check for AECore:Exceptions, if there aren't, then most likely you've replaced your Prokit.framework to a PPC one. Google for Intel Prokit and you're golden. I'm assuming you can't load any other "Pro" application from Apple like Aperture or Motion just jumping around and quitting in your dock, then the Intel Prokit will solve it.

Try removing your Qmaster.Framework from the /Library/Frameworks folder to your desktop, if FCP will work after moving the file then you need to change your ethernet adapter settings back to en0 which can be followed on this thread http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=48666 . You can work without the using the Qmaster.Framework folder but that disables compressor which is needed for most final outputs of video content.

You really need to do a search... you need Full QE and CI to work. That's what will make it quit like that, but you need to go into the crash-reporter to check your logs.

i have an AMD System

And we all have real Apple hardware. AMD or Intel, if you have a PPC Prokit.framework installed, every Pro App you run will only jump up in the dock for a bit then quit, simple as that.
