PowerPPC2289
I am on my second downloaded iso. When It tells me to pressd any key to install, I press a key, the little slashes spin round, and then it just stops, gets stuck, noting. I heard plugging an external screen in helps so I did and...it did something but it wasnt a help. I got an error message telling me it could not find apple.com.boot.plist Does this mean my laptop will just never work? An I was getting so excited... Russ-ST24
Hi, I had issues getting it to install on my IBM X60T when I had the drive compatibility set to "Compatible" had to change it to ACPI (I think sorry doing this from memory). Just check you BIOS and see if you can change the SATA harddisk mode. Mine did boot a bit form the install CD but just stopped. Once I changed it in the BIOS it worked great. Hope this helps.
