iMags
I'm looking for a way to filter the torrent contents automatically downloaded with RSSFeed Scanner. I want to seed alot, but I don't want to download all the files. It's enough to download the .rar-file, I don't need the .r01-.r55 files. Is there a way for doing this automatically? A Nonny Moose
Make a smart folder in the Finder with the parameters you just stated.
iMags
I think you misunderstood. I do not want to just hide the files, I do not want to download them
eire3678
If you're looking to seed a torrent you will need all of the files associated with that torrent.
iMags
No. I don't need all the files to seed. I only need ONE .rar file from the torrent to seed. ...and I don't want to download all the other .r01-.r** because then I'll screw up my ratio

Sure you will get credit for whatever you upload and that would be a good way to keep your ratio up, but I thought you were asking if you needed all of those files to be a seeder. A Nonny Moose
So you want to delete the items then. OK, so assuming you have this folder, you can most likely make an Automator workflow. Begin it by making sure you're selecting only those items you want to delete and then make the workflow move it to the trash. Save it AS A PLUGIN for Finder and then you're a right click away from deleting those files.
