razorbladex401
I just installed Mac OS X 10.4.7 on a Dell Inspiron 2650. For some reason the keyboard and the mouse touchpad don't work. I used an external mouse to click through the install. But if anyone could lead me the right way to get the keyboard to work that would be AWESOME!!!! paulicat
Likely your ApplePS2Controller.kext doesnt have the proper permissions to run. If you can connect a usb keyboard, press f8 at starting darwin, type -s and hit enter. Type fsck -fy, then when thats finished, type mount -uw / After you do this, type chmod -R 755 ApplePS2Controller.kext Finally, type chown -R root:wheel ApplePS2Controller.kext Reboot and it should be good to go.
