hecker
What if you drag the DVD icon into the trash? An alternative would also be to enter: sudo umount -f /Volumes/<DVD_ROM> What do you need to do that during an installation process? hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47485-help-ejecting-disks-manualy-from-macbook/#findComment-339995 Share on other sites
erbic
I expect that since he said disks, it means he'd need to eject one and insert the other halfway through the process. I'm not actually sure if this is possible. The Macbook/Pro doesn't have a manual eject hole, AFAIK. U.C.
There is a dos utility that can do this. Also you can open the DOS prompt during installation by pressing SHIFT+F10. This eject utility used to come with old CDROM dos drivers. crocitto49
i'm probably a bit late for this.. but couldn't you just set the install options so it installed the minimum options.. then Install the rest from Windows itself? just a thought.
