I was at another forum and one guy thought about building a PC using x86. Then one guy mentioned that Mac OS would only work on Mac hard ware. So what if you got the Mac Pro case along with the motherboard and processor, you could upgrade the RAM, the hard drive, etc? If you wanted to pop in a Tiger or Leopard installation disc and install that, would it work? or would there still be problems occuring. You can always buy third party parts after that if any thing.

you could, but it is next to impossible to do. apple doesnt release hardware parts. they just sell the whole thing. maybe if you are an authorized apple mechanic or something....

whell, the problem is, if someone bought a mac pro, would they take it apart and sell the parts? nice idea, but it will be hard to get the parts. it also would be expensive. you could buy a mac pro and take it apart, add a 3rd party dvd burner...

the best chance you've got is buying systems that have died on ebay and putting together a mismatch computer. I've thought about buying an ibook with say a fried logic board on ebay for like $250-$300 and then a new logic board for $100-150 all on ebay. Throw the parts together and load up tiger and you've got yourself a new real mac. Many people don't want to spend the time to have something fixed or fix it themselves so their laziness is your gain. It's worth a shot with something like an ibook but I wouldn't hold your breath for anything intel based to do this with for some time...
