Hello all, I've been doing alot of reading and now I'm really confused. I've read that osx will only work on an ide drive and then I've heard it will work on a sata. Which is better? I now know that your keyboard and mouse have to be usb, but I'm confused about what kind of drive to use! Thanks in Advance!!!!!-Plumbob

You just have to have compatible hardware. I've used IDE enough times, currently I use SATA (in a RAID even). I don't know about PS/2 mice, but I have used a PS/2 keyboard before.

When I tried OSx86, Darwin only responded to a PS/2 keyboard and Mac OS X to a USB keyboard - probably not true for any other of the infinate hardware combinations but it was strange.

Same exact thing for me. The bootloader only works with a ps2 keyboard and OSX only works with a USB.
