Hi Community,

I like to introduce the project "Spongedpics.com".

First of all, I want to inform you that it is a free service, you even don't need a registration to use it (but, please follow the Terms-of-use).

Spongedpics.com is made for all the people out there who don't own have access to webspace and can't upload their screenshots, photos etc. Of course it is "Web 2.0"-style, means it's still "beta".

Why I don't use a service like ImageShack? Well, it's because the connection here in Europe is pretty slow - it could take a lot seconds until the picture is loaded. That's where the idea come from.

Hope you enjoy the service!

Ciao

Hi Dicenet,

thanks - normally it should detect you as EN-User and display it all in english, if this won't work, please tell me.

If you click on "Einstellungen" on the bottom (if it's really displayed in german for you), you can swith the languages to currently English, Dutch & German.

btw. we're watching for people have some less minutes to translate some lines of text for us! We need people for:

- Danish

- Norwegian

- Finnish

- Polish

- Italian

- Spanish

- French

- Portuguese

- Greek

and other languages! So - if anyone here likes to help... you're very welcome :D

Zealot: Thank you - I really hope that! :P For future a plan a free registration as additional feature (you don't need to). The idea behind that is that you see all of you uploaded pictures and see the data and that you can easy remove them. I also think about giving a bit higher upload-size like 1.5 or 2MB / picture. But that are still ideas :(

Nice design for the site and all, I think some users will find it useful, but as for me, I use my own uploader hosted be me.

Good luck with the project, I would think that you would have a english version since you posted in english!

Dice :(

Hi Dicenet,

we've worked the whole day on the procedure, but now you should read it in Dutch when you join from the NL, in German when you join from Germany and currently in English from all other countries (more to come - hopefully) :)
