Just ignore the part where you partition your Windows drive. Use Diskpart in Windows to create a partition of type 0xAF on your second disk. After that, boot up the OSx86 installer, open Disk Utility and format the 0xAF partition as HFS+. Then proceed to install OSX on it.

ErBiC, is it necessary to create a OxAF partition? I created a FAT32 partiton with Partition Magic, and shouldnt I be able to erase this partition in Disk Utilitys and create a Mac Partiton during install ?

To many ways to do dual-boot

Windows$$$ resides on HD0 (your first HD)

OSX sits on HD1 (second HD)

1 use the Boot0-methode in Boot.ini for XPor /with BCDEDIT in Vista

2. use a bootmanager like AcronisBootmanager or Powerquest Bootmagic (needs an extra or at least a logical FAT32-partition on HD0)

3. use Linux' bootmanager Grub or outdated lilo

I prefer to use GPARTED-live-CD instead of cryptic tool in Windows$$$-console.

look for my name in the forum you will find my tutorial in german and english language

:)

(helped a lot of friends)
