e-rick
Hi there.. try pressing F8 at startup for advanced boot options. then give boot option -v. The install DVD will boot up in verbal mode. Look for errors in the output. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42659-installing-1048-on-an-intel-p4/#findComment-302141 Share on other sites

Ampidire
you should check out the genius bar a few forums up, there are lots of good guides there, also in the OSX86 section are lots of guides and troubleshooting tips. Some important information to know would be your chipset of your motherboard and if your P4 has SSE3 instructions or not. vin
Usually P4 only support SSE2. Only Dualcore and above support SSE3. So i suggest you better check it carefully. You either use SSE2 patch or SSE3 patch Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42659-installing-1048-on-an-intel-p4/#findComment-302485 Share on other sites
