Then go to Contents->Resources->AMT and rename application.sif (or something like this) to application.cool. edmund Posted February 15, 2007 Author Share Posted February 15, 2007 (edited) Thanks guys for the tip. So it worked I rebooted and all way fine.. I shut down again and rebooted.. not I can't get my os booting.. it boots to the starting Mac OSX screen then goes blank and starts giving me all the errors... not sure how to capture the errors to show on here.. but is no good.. Is this normal?? I am not getting an error with pacifist when trying to revert back to my old kext.. it says error /private/var/tmp/folders.501/TemporaryItems/Pacifist Temp/Essentials Folder/./System/Library/Extension/AppleSSMBIOS.kext" does not exsist. and i am just trying to extract to my desktop... Kernel 8.8.1 or 8.4.1? Latest kernel or slightly older (if 8.8.1, Jan 10th is the latest)? Is QE/CI enabled for your graphics? TeraHz Posted March 22, 2007 Share Posted March 22, 2007 Hi all, I am on a 10.4.6 AMD MAC and when I try to run the setup it crashes after the authentication. I try to run it with sudo and it gives me bus error I tried changing the systemversion to 4.8 and changing the SMBIOS kext but the setup keeps crashing and crashing. Can you post some ideas, because I cannot think of anything else...
