EtherealRemnant
Just bought an 8800GTS. Wondering if there has been any progress getting them to work with Titan/Natit yet? Guest bikedude880
The 8800 isn't supported by Apples drivers, so Natit/Titan will not work for anything but detection. EtherealRemnant
I figured as much but I can dream, right? Anyway... I'm ready to throw this stupid Core 2 system out the window... I think I'm going to go back to my Athlon 64 system where everything worked right, all the time....... and get rid of this 8800 and go back to a 7xxx series card... EtherealRemnant
I think I'm just going to return the 8800GTS anyway and get a lower-end GeForce... its a great card but its kinda pointless to have it right now and its 300 dollars more than I was looking to spend. EtherealRemnant
I never said anything about res switching. I want it so I can have my accelerated desktop back. And btw, MacVidia never worked for me even one single time. I don't feel like going through that headache all over again... EtherealRemnant
So an update. I ended up keeping the card. Its way too sick of a card to take back to the store and replace with a scorching hot ATI card. I run "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024@70" and it works great. Thank god this card doesn't have the blaring loud fan the 7900 series had... ouch. BarryBar
EtherealRemnant, Can you tell how it runs in OS X? Is it recognized with the help of Titan or Natit. I hope that Apple one of these days will suppoort this card. I am looking for a card that will run Fear effortlessly. But for good Apple applications like Keynote and Pages to work you need hardware accelaration so that is also essential for me.
