Dudes
anyone have any benchmarks of nlited or stripped down vista vs 2k, or xp? I was wondering when this would reach the masses since nLite for vista was released not that long ago like a month i think. of course its going to run faster cause there are less this that it has to do. and stripping the aero gui will speed anything up. vLite, and yea... took long enough Whahaha...that is funny. As nastyhome pointed out, THIS IS NOT made with that POS nlite/vlite. Simply try to achieve the same footprint OR resourceload with an vlited Vista, then post again and see who is laughing. I'm so fed up with all those nlite/vlite "buttonclicker" fanboys that doesn't know {censored}. ..."releasing" stuff they have "made" by simply click options in nlite and watching that statusbar roll....pah! BTW, Nuhi is a simple 'try and error' guy with too much time on his hands...nothing more. /someone Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41366-ultra-stripped-down-windows-vista/page/2/#findComment-299041 Share on other sites
quixos
Dudes, i have no idea why you quoted me, other than to think you had some benchmarks to share, but forgot? the very definition of "too much time on his hands" is registering to a forum for a one post anonymous rant. let's see some benchmarks people! i'm interested. asap18
Whats going to be cool, is XSOS 3.0, it will have a pretty much unix kernel, yet will still be able to use aero, dx10, and windows apps? And it doesn't have all that bloated {censored} like UAC and MediaCenter. Ohuhmm...when looking closer to your post I see I did a mistake, my bad. It was directed to those who (as usual) thinks that if you have cleaned out Windows have used that POS vlite/nlite. Nlite/vlite is for the non-brained ppl, it's allways better, safer, more fun and more educational to do it yourself. Dudes
It's a ripped Vista Ultimate. Meant for those that can't stand the bloat and needs to play coming DX10 games.
