jpipitone
I've installed JaS 10.4.8 on my notebook - how can I get to the command line upon first booting osx86 so I can type in -v or -s, among other options? Such as the graphic mode I want? I can't remember the keystroke - is it F8? Thanks for a refresher. jpipitone
Strange - it doesn't want to work. I just get a blinking cursor. Any other ideas? I appreciate your help. It is F8. J B
i never could get it when i had only intel installed, had to install amd and intel patches to get the f8 and boot options to work, it gives u about 10 seconds, so u dont have to be very fast Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40312-boot-options/#findComment-287804 Share on other sites

sadiekiller
ok http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...he_boot_options look around at that and look at your own boot file, change to to not quickboot and have a time of say 8 or so. you can also just force it to always do -v or -s Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40312-boot-options/#findComment-287811 Share on other sites
jpipitone
I saw that article already - however hitting my F8 key doesn't do anything - I'm trying to install the AMD and Intel patches as J B suggested.
