Guest IanP
I really want to get my resolution at my monitor's peak (1280*1024). Unfortunately, when I do the graphics mode control at Darwin boot, my monitor gives me the 'cannot display video mode' sign. OS X 10.4.1 deadmoo ATi Radeon 9200 Sapphire Atlantis (which essentially means it has 256mb) Monitor: Dell E173FP LCD 17 in (max. res. 1280*1024) Is there any way to install some drivers or something? OMX-Knuckles
On a sidenote, you'll probably want to update to at least 10.4.3... 10.4.1 works okay but a lot of programs (including some apps bundled with the OS) either won't work or will be really slow and I'm not sure what kind of driver support you'll see with 10.4.1 as it's pretty much been abandoned. Guest IanP
Well, would 10.4.3 be a software update or a completely new image? I don't have enough spare time for that, if so. And i tried Callisto...I have no friggin idea what to do to install it...get to the terminal and the "duh...." sets in. Oh yes, my card is AGP too. Isn't Callisto for PCI cards?
