wow Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 i hope you chmod and chown the s5 after copying? better to to next time this: copy to s5 in root reboot f8 type s5 (yoriu new kernel) test or everything still works then if you everything is ok and 100% working the do what you did + chmod and chown to make the new kenrel definitive. Zizou Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 You also need to replace the *.kext files in your extensions folder with the ones from the ORIGINAL 10.4.8 combo update from APPLE. (Download Pacifist, open the downloaded mpkg and extract the extensions to your extensions folder on your computer..
