Wisam
I wake up in the morning to find mac crash screen then I have to press Reset button and wait for mac to boot. It's been like this for a while now and I don't know what is causing the problem. All I know is that if I leave the mac for a long period of time this problem happen. I thought may be it is a kernel issue since I am using Mifki so I switched to Semthex beta 8and now I think beta 9 kernel but the same problem still. I installed many programs so may be one of them is the problem. I don't know. I disabled power saving to prevent sleep and disabled screen saver. I use my hackintosh to download during the night. I use Azureus bittorrent client. This crash screen started annoying me. Is there a solution for my problem? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37898-mac-crashed-in-the-morning/ Share on other sites
Csoft
Unless there is a special reason why u want the semthex i think u should go with the original kernel that comes with the install disc. On my hackintosh i have alot of crash issues with the semthex... Wisam
Well, I had crashes using Mifki so I hoped by switching to Semthex my problems can become less severe. Is there a way to know what caused the crash and may be fix it ? intrax
Well, I had crashes using Mifki so I hoped by switching to Semthex my problems can become less severe. Is there a way to know what caused the crash and may be fix it ? Have look at your log files and run crash reporter to get more grip on what is causing the crash... without more detailed info impossible to solve from distance... are you sure your htosh doesn't just have bad morning temper ? kuruu
I have a similar problem actually. using semthex beta8 currently. should upgrade, though it obviouly does not solve this problem. there are no crash reports. everything just locks up. no kernel panic. I turn on the screen and the clock says something like 02:34am I know this doesn't help... FWIW I am using fresh 10.4.8 with modded SMBIOS and kernel and natit. That's all.
