Hello, I've try to install the Jas dvd SSE3 on a P4C800 on a SATA drive.

 

I've an installation of the same dvd on a ata drive, but I want to gain some performances with Sata.

 

For installation on a ata drive I can't install if a SATA drive is connected ...

 

The chipset of mother board is i875p. I hope it can help.

Ok, you're right it was the answer ....

For others to want to know how to do it :

 

Symply enable the enhanced mode on only the Sata ...

try configuring ur hd as ide in bios

ive done all of this and still cant install the sata drive

i dont want to install the OSX on a SATA

i just want the OSX to recognize my SATA
