mcduck88
I've now Natit (Installer 1.0) activated (no AGPart). Needs after reboot 5-10 seconds to show the Login Window (DVI, 2nd port). I guess performance should be better. It's a P4 2,66Ghz, 1GB RAM and a NVidia NV41 GPU (6600GT). sg
xbench sucks, meaningless for any 2d/3d benchmarks. get something like openmark or even a decent game like quake 3. mcduck88
OpenMark: 1152 Triangles 599 FPS Bad or good for an AGP card like my 6600GT? sg
did you run the full benchmark? it will keep adding spheres until it reaches a certain fps (like 9 or something) and tell you how many triangles/sec it was able to do. Steddyman
sg, I wonder why yours is faster when your card and system should be slower. What resolution were you running the tests at? Mine is 1920x1200. For some reason it crashes the desktop when I try and run it at a lower resolution. Odd. Steddyman
That probably explains the difference then. For some odd reason I can't run it at any other res than 1920x1200. Every other one crashes the desktop on the Set Full Screen api call. Steddyman
Whoa I just reinstalled using the lastest 10.4.8 AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3 DVD and my score just went crazy. Now getting the following: 1920x1200x32 Score 15769 15.5 million triangles at 10fps I still can't run it at any other resolution without OpenMark crashing though. Thanks to JAS for this excellent release.
