trav1085
I just downloaded Leopard 9A321. The size is about 5.7GB and I'm wondering if I can remove Xcode or something else I don't need to make it fit on a 4.7GB DVD-R. As there isn't a single store open today (on the most profitable day of the year) that sells blank DVDs in my town! And is there a way to burn DMGs in WIndows XP? I can't find a way. Fizzeh
First of all...you probs wont get this running on a Windows machine. Second...try the install technique that involves partitioning. alloutmacstoday
you mean target disk mode? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36899-fit-leopard-on-47gb-dvd-r/#findComment-262528 Share on other sites
trav1085
Yes, he means Target disk mode. I have two other Macs but they are vintage and don't even have USB. I have Nero already, bought it when I got my new video camera. I was thinking of partitiong, but I don't know how to transfer that DMG to my Mac as I can't find my blank DVDs. I then acidentally formatted my drive to put OSx86 on it (the new jas dvd) so I will have to download it again. But it doesn't matter. I'm wondering if "leopard client 9A321 (10.5)" on [Oi nk] is valid. I couldn't use TransMac to open it. It said no HFS volume is detected. alloutmacstoday
i'm pretty sure (i don't have an oink account so an invite would be awesome), but from what i've heard, it's valid, you could try downloading a different version, but it should work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36899-fit-leopard-on-47gb-dvd-r/#findComment-262786 Share on other sites
