Sentertainment
Check the Wiki for compatability. As for alot of ethernet adapters, including mine, they will be recognized but still wont work. If anything, you may be able to change the drivers and see if that works. Sentertainment
You can also force the configuration of your nic istead of automatic settings. Does this work for nforce chipsets? I have nforce gb lan. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3661-network-cable-unplugged/#findComment-23317 Share on other sites
macgirl
No, most of the nForce onboard Gigabit chipsets are Marvell, no drivers yet. Only if it's a Realtek 8169. Spork033
I'm having the same problem with my built-in ethernet AND my wireless. osx isn't recognizing the MINI-PCI DELL 1350 Wireless card in my Latitude D610 It's listed as working perfectly in the wiki, but I have tried EVERTYHING Any one that has suceeded in this feel like helping me out? thrunner
I have tried EVERTYHING sad.gif Have you check the revision on your card, most newer versions require kext editing and may not work right. Have you try another mini PCI card with the right Broadcom chipset and revision that is known to work? They are readily available and not expensive. Search for Broadcom or wireless. It's working for WEP, just not WPA... I hadn't tried for WEP seeing as how we only use WPA here @ my school. But I went to my room and setup my old linksys and it worked for that. Just won't work for my school's network, which isn't so bad Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3661-network-cable-unplugged/#findComment-25881 Share on other sites
