I have a fully functional OLD2 system running on a Skylake motherboard with a fake 530 iGPU that functions as a 630, working perfectly with both Tahoe and Tahoe Beta. See the OLD2 specifications. However, I can't get it to go into sleep mode, and when I wake from sleep, the monitor stays on static with no possibility of activating the fake graphics.

IGPU 530 desktop sleep don't work. Its a very very old problem.

This third unit in my collection belonged to my father-in-law, so I'm going to use it very little, if at all, just to see if the latest Tahoe system could be installed on it. If I decide to buy it, I'll get the one you recommended or an RX 560.

Well, I'll go for that one or an RX 560, whichever I can find cheapest in my country, since this computer won't be used for anything other than testing Tahoe and its subsequent betas.

Hi I did try a solution for my thinkcentre m700 but it only woke up from sleep on first 2 times then it did not .( Sequoia)

I did clone @xenophon efi as he too had a Lenovo m700 athought his is a tiny one.

I also did try to change frame buffer for one of a laptop as sleep work on them but I could not get the frame buffer right.

I did have A Nvidia gt730  but I thought the radeon is a bit better .

For 30 euro I can't complain I did not want to spend anymore for a better card.

I'm not too worried about it; I've never used sleep mode on any of my computers. But now it's more of an obsession with having it perfect, within the limits of what's possible on an old Tahoe machine, than with actual functionality. I'm going to try this command to see if sleep mode doesn't work if the monitor wakes up from standby and then wakes up.

Well, as others have mentioned, this graphics card isn't fully implemented or doesn't work on Tahoe and earlier systems. However, I've been testing things, and this OLD2 computer has two HDMI outputs from the iGPU. I've tried patching or "faking" the graphics card, and the second monitor doesn't activate, but it does without patching. The question is, is it possible to activate both monitors by patching the graphics card?

I'm testing it in this thread, but it won't wake up unless I add force-online = <01000000>.

ADD:

I can't understand the PC specifications just from OLD2 = Pavilion, so I would like it to be displayed in a searchable format.

I'm going to try to get the output on both monitors, I'll let you know.

It didn't work as I told you. Let's see if the translation from Spanish to English is correct. The computer I'm going to show you is the OLD2 of my represented systems:

Pavilion | i5-6400 CPU @ 3.30GHz Skylake | Intel HD Graphics 530 | iMac 17.1 | OpenCore 1.0.

The 530 graphics card doesn't work in Tahoe, so I've modified the graphics card and it works perfectly. This computer is only for testing with the Tahoe system. I know it would work great on previous systems, but that's not my goal, as what I intend is to learn and try to make this work. This is truly the essence of Hackintosh at its best. The issue with this computer, after modifying the 530 graphics card to a 560, is that they work relatively well without the sleep mode.

Seeing that it had two HDMI outputs, I wanted to try with another monitor to see if I had a video signal on both, but it didn't work with the 530/560 spoofing. However, if I leave it without data, the computer boots to the graphics card with no gigabytes allocated, but both monitors work.

Therefore, it's a problem with the graphics card spoofing. I don't know if it can be fixed, but I'm leaving this here in case anyone has managed to fix it on these Skulake Intel HD Graphics 530 systems, as well as Taho EO and Sonoma.

The descriptive method you put in the link didn't work for me.

After rechecking the system and finding errors in the config.plist file with my OLD2 system, I managed to get the system to go into complete sleep mode using the fake graphics card. However, because of the fake graphics card, the monitor remains in sleep mode, although I can access the system and shut it down or work using automated AnyDesk. Therefore, the sleep issue is partially resolved, but the monitor problem persists.
