wow Posted December 18, 2006 Share Posted December 18, 2006 Is it just me? On the pc, when editing a reply on the forum, the cursor moves quickly between the letters/words. But in OSX it is 5 x slower. makes editing time consuming, didnt find a setting for it to. Am i the only one who notices this or has this? 39thRonin Posted December 18, 2006 Share Posted December 18, 2006 Have you tried using one of the (many!) systems optimization tools avaialbe for the Mac? I'm a real fan of tinkertool, but there are tons of them out there. You might be having a font problem, and rebuilding the font cache with one of these tools could help dramatically. To give you a straight answer - no, I am not seeing any hesitation at all on my box... wow Posted December 21, 2006 Author Share Posted December 21, 2006 Today i noticed something else. I use firefox 2 and 1 site had bad popups that FF blocked. So i had to use safari and noticed that safari is a lot faster then firefox. it seems that the mac version of firefox is a lot slower then the pc firefox. Safari scrolls faster no more stuttering and the cursor move salmost as fast as the pc now.
