If you are using Clover, not possible disable SIP in Recovery mode with commands. Need use Opencore. ;)

I'm using opencore and from terminal command SIP is already disabled, maybe the issue with Kextinstaller is it not allowed in system>security>automation.

How can I add it and test it.

Are you gave permission for app? Here in fact no needed. But sometimes need give.

For exemple:

xattr -d -r -s com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Clover\ Suite\ Builder.app

Im writing from cell phone so you can use this command to give permission for any app.  Just drag and drop after quarantine.

@Max.1974  Sorry, leave the Recovery alone, if you disable SIP from the Plist, it doesn't work ?

Hi my friend. I’m trying too before. Doesn’t work. Just work with Opencore. After disable and run program installing KDK and kext works fine with Clover. But to initial installer is  necessary for my Z790 Desktop use Opencore. I have no idea why. 😆

You dont need to go to recovery to disable SIP

Its nice my friend. I will test another version (the last) to check better. Maybe is because I’m install from scratch with Clover. 🍀

Run the following command in the terminal:

tccutil reset All com.mirone.MyKextInstaller

Then try running the program again, and when you see the image below, click 'Allow'.

Brought back USB for wifi with MyKextInstaller! Several files btw.

Few kext & frameworks, some of it had to do it manually.

Got to test thoroughly though

Any updates on this? Is everything working well?

Hi Everyone!
The app has been updated to its official version. Improvements include the implementation of the Sparkler framework for automatic updates, and the addition of a routine to automatically download the KDK and install if it is not already installed on your machine.

config.plist.zip 9.08 kB · 1 download

follow instructions first page

  1. Download MyKextInstaller
  2. Download  AppleHDA I assume you can use the one from Sequoia or older macOS versions or AppleHda.kext can be found here:  /Library/Developer/KDKs/KDK_26.0_25A5279m.kdk/System/Library/Extensions
  3. Set csr-active-config=03080000 (OpenCore). If you're not sure how to do this, check here or Set CsrActiveConfig=0x803 (Clover). If you're not sure how to do this, check here.
  4. Make sure AppleALC.kext is enabled in OpenCore under the Kernel section, as before. If you’re not sure how, check here
  5. Download and install the KDK.
  6. Install AppleHDA.kext using MyKextInstaller. (The app will ask you to locate the kext you want to install to make it easier, just copy the file to your Desktop.)
  7. Restart your system after installing the kext and check if the audio is working.
