Quote Software Update New Features Depending on the amount of free space available, iOS might dynamically reserve update space for Automatic Updates to download and install successfully. (137003545) I just experienced it on my old iPhone SE (2020). I always had the "automatic update" function been activated but it NEVER installed any update automatically (and especially without my agreement). Also, I have no information on what happens to that dedicated space once the update installed (whether it is restored or kept for future updates). In case it is reserved, you will know why. So, don't forget to disable automatic updating (it will be enabled every time a new update is installed, to be confirmed) if you want to wait a bit before installing a new beta.
