Give it time, it took me 30 minutes to ask for a reboot without further ado, note that the hard drive will work quite a bit while you see this screen in 30 minutes

For those that already installed beta 2 like @Anto65 @eSaF , after the reboots and the update was done, did you find FileVault enabled? Did you have FileVault disabled in beta 1 prior to the beta 2 update?

in the first beta, I didn't see this damn filevault at all
maybe because it was a clean install
and I didn't understand how the others had managed to activate it

Now with the update to beta2 it showed up

but already disabled ... fixed

It's working now, and I still have audio via HDMI...

But who the hell told him to do this?

How do I cancel it?

So Apple keeps insisting on auto encrypting without the user consent? It must have started immediately after the update was completed. Should we wait until the encryption is complete and then disable prior to shutting down or restarting?

Yea when you asked if Audio was working I rebooted and was greeted with the Apple Boot-Chime.

I thought the reboot fixed the Audio glitch but at the Desktop I was greeted with the equivalent of p/c Sign Language

To play Boot-Chime sound, the OpenCore driver AudioDxe.efi is used instead of the MacOS system driver.

Got it. @Anto65 If the encryption automatically started after the update is complete and is underway, should we wait until the encryption is over and then disable it? Is that what you did?
