@Slice you are the guy i actually want to talk to and why i am now member in this forum.

I would appreciate your help on the old RTL8111 kext. I need it as 32bit kext for a 32bit Snow Leopard Hack.

I compiled v3.12 from your sources on Github using Xcode 4.2 on Snow Leopard. Card will be recognized and kext will be bound to the card, but i don't get a connection in network settings. Manual/automatic DHCP won't work.

I did try v3.03 i found on the forum and i also managed to find v3.04 in a german forum. Both will show false positive active internet connection settings. So they will do when i disconnect the ethernet cable.

I also tried Miezes and Rehabmans kexts, as well as the AppleRTL8139 kext. Miezes and Rehabmans kext will work in x64 mode. Can't compile them to i386 though. Apparently dependencies are x64 only and my Xcode is older.

The AppleRTL8139.kext will crash with a Kernel related panic on desktop after a minute, not showing the card in system profiler.

The actual hardware is a Asus B85 Plus with RTL8111g.

I know this is ancient. But i'm hoping you can help me get this running. I need all PCI and PCIe slots on the motherboard and thus buying another card won't help much. In the end i would need to replace the motherboard if nothing helps.
