  1. I want to patch AppleHDA but I cannot find any post talking about ALC3220, I Tried AppleALC (ALC280 - layout-id 11), and AppleHDA Patcher v1.9 (ALC280 - layout-id 5) with no luck. 2. Being asked to add support for Realtek's Fast Ethernet PCIe NICs to my RTL8111 driver I got tired of answering the same old question again and again so that I finally decided to write a separate driver for these chips and to make a few of you guys and gals happy. As of now the driver supports the following members the RTL810X Fast Ethernet family: RTL8101E RTL8102E RTL8103E RTL8401E RTL8105E RTL8402 RTL8106E RTL8106EUS RTL8107E Here is a list of the driver's basic features: Supports Sierra (maybe El Capitan). 64 bit architecture only. Support for multisegment packets relieving the network stack of unnecessary copy operations when assembling packets for transmission. No-copy receive and transmit. Only small packets are copied on reception because creating a copy is more efficient than allocating a new buffer. TCP, UDP and IPv4 checksum offload (receive and transmit). TCP segmentation offload under IPv4. Support for TCP/IPv6 and UDP/IPv6 checksum offload. Supports Wake on LAN. Support for Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) which can be disabled by setting enableEEE to NO in the drivers Info.plist without rebuild. The default is YES. The driver is published under GPLv2. Built using Xcode 4.6.3. Changelog Version 2.0.1 (2018-05-10): Fixes a problem with retrieval of the permanent MAC address on some chips. Version 2.0.0 (2017-04-04): Uses Apple's private driver interface introduced with 10.8. Adds support for the RTL8107E. Supports packet scheduling with QFQ. Adds support for flow control and EEE. Version 1.0.0 (2014-05-24): First offical release. Installation Before you install the driver you have to remove any installed driver for RTL810X. Goto /S/L/E and delete the old driver. Recreate the kernel cache. Open System Preferences and delete the corresponding network interface, e. g. en0. If you forget this step you might experience strange problems with certain Apple domains, iTunes and iCloud later. Install the new driver and recreate the kernel cache. Reboot Open System Preferences again, select Network and check if the new network interface has been created automatically or create it manually now. Configure the interface. Troubleshooting Make sure you have followed the installation instructions especially when you have issues with certain domains while the others are working fine. Use the debug version to collect log data when trying to track down problems. The kernel log messages can be retrieved with "grep kernel /var/log/system.log" in Terminal. Starting from Sierra use "log show --predicate "processID == 0" --debug" in order to retrieve kernel logs. Include the log data when asking for support or giving feedback. I'm an engineer, not a clairvoyant. Don't copy and paste large amounts of log data to your post. Create an archive with the log data and attach it to your post. In case you don't want to make your log data publicly accessible, contact me via PM and I will provide you a mail address to send it directly to me. Check your BIOS settings. You might want to disable Network Boot and the UEFI Network Stack as these can interfere with the driver. Double check that you have removed any other Realtek kext from your system because they could prevent the driver from working properly. Delete the following files: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist Verify your bootloader configuration, in particular the kernel flags. Avoid using npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000. In Terminal run netstat -s in order to display network statistics. Carefully examine the data for any unusual activity like a high number of packets with bad IP header checksums, etc. In case auto-configuration of the link layer connection doesn't work it might be necessary to select the medium manually in System Preferences under Network for the interface. Use Wireshark to create a packet dump in order to collect diagnostic information. Keep in mind that there are many manufacturers of network equipment. Although Ethernet is an IEEE standard, different implementations may show different behavior causing incompatibilities. In case you are having trouble try a different switch or a different cable. Getting the driver There is a prebuilt binary in the Download section of this site: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/259-realtekrtl8100-binary/ The source code can be found on Github: https://github.com/Mieze/RealtekRTL8100 Mieze

Should even happens that the update doesn't overwrite the old applehda kext driver, so in this case, you don't need to reinstall. Q: I'm experiencing pop sound, how can I solve this? ALC1200_lm_108.zip - edit DSDT pointing to 12 (hex 0C) layout ID, as on the HDEF text file attached - install AppleHDA.kext attached - cache rebuild - reboot this is from my dsdt (Asus P5Q with E8400 and 4GB ram) so you can understand where you have to put the hdef code. DSDTEditor is recommended. Edit your DSDT, don't use mine. dsdt.zip these are the xmls needed for our ALC1200 to work right layout_and_platforms.zip ==================== MAVERICKS 10.9 AND MOUNTAIN LION 10.8 ========================== ==================== SNOW LEOPARD and LION ========================== **First method**: with DSDT Injection, patched AppleHDA, and NO HDAenabler attached. AppleHDA_ALC1200_HDEF.zipremove AppleHDA.kext from /S/L/E and install this after dsdt edit. HDEF code is attached in the zip pack, put the HDEF code in: - SCOPE _SB -- Device PCI0 --- Device HDEF **Second method**: easier, no quality differences: with HDAEnabler and no DSDT editing. [latest] ==> ALC1200 for Lion 10.7 and Snow Leopard 10.6.3, 10.6.4, 10.6.5 ALC1200_1063.zip================================================== older 10.6x versions: - SL 10.6.2 modded kexts ALC1200_1062.zip - Snow Leopard 10.6.0 and above ALC1200 audio kext: ALC1200_106.zip ==========OLD STUFF========== ALC1200 driver for 10.5.x : I think latest ALC1200_SLIM version could be considered "final", I'm running 10.5.6 and I'm working on this OSx version. For previous OSx version you can try installing only the ALC1200fix and the HDAEnabler from ALC1200_1056LINEIN version and see if that works. The other ALC1200 kext versions out on the forum are old and I think can even cause some shutdown/reboot issue. This driver doesn't work with ALCinjector. - SPDIF coaxial Digital Out working - Headphone working - Line in is working only in the slim and line-in version, read notes down this post ----------- Works on 10.5.7, just download and reinstall the driver. Choose driver version, I think best choice is the slim version: 1. Update (4th june 2009) slim version from 10.5.7 applehda with: green line out, headphones, rear mic, line in and spdif out I removed not needed verbs for multiple channel output (I don't need them) ALC1200_1057_SLIM.zip 4th june 2009 10.5.7 version [latest] ---- ALC1200_SLIM.zip[/b] 19th april 2009 10.5.6 version (discontinued) 2. Normal version with no line-in, you can switch between front/rear mic without any trouble ALC1200_1056.zip 3. This is a beta version with all three input working, line-in, front mic and rear mic, front-mic has some trouble This version works but if you switch between inputs, front mic stops working (only for that session obviously, if you reboot it works). This happens because ALC1200 has 1 digital mixer node for 2 channel (linein and front mic) instead of one, so if you come back from line-in input, to front mic, front mic stops working. At the moment I would think this driver can't manage thing like this, so I don't know if we could have a better driver than this. Anyway I wanted a working line in and if you select this and use it, that works, so if you need line-in you should use this version. Update (14th april 2009) with RCA spdif in "about this mac" Update (17th april 2009) removed ALC1200fix.kext from the pack If you're updating your driver, in order to install this, remove ALC1200fix.kext from your extension folder, then install this with kexthelper. Now in sound preference there's no (useless) "Internal speaker" "Built in" for input and output. ================================================== Thanks the whole forum, especially this thread, TheKing and Taruga Removed verbs they're too large. This is how looks like About this mac: You're lucky, enjoy it!!

    USB Realtek Card Reader

Grazie a tutti

  6. Hi all, I have a onboard lan died, so I grap some cheap realtek pcie nic from ebay. It is different than card from newegg. The computer got so much problem from osx and opensuse samba server textmode, it cause system into reboot loop. On osx, i look on log and it said network change address, i don't knownwhat happen to opensuse. Grap a lan nic realtek from newegg, everything boot up rigth, no reboot loop. So buyer beware to that, I don't know what the cheap card encode what, but it cause me headache fornanwhile. Thank everyone for reading. Edited: I add more picture to let people know.
  7. Hello, I made an Hackintosh on my laptop. Everything work, except wireless. So I bought this wireless USB dongle. But I cannot make WPA2-Enterprise to work... I have a prompt which say "WPA2-Enterprise is not supported (yet!)" in preflane. Is there a way to be able to connect to WPA2-Enterprise with USB Dongle on OS X? Every network works except WPA2-Enterprise. Thanks so much if you can help me, I really need this. EDIT : It does work on Windows.
  8. Installed Yosemite vanilla using chameleon on my rig...specs are in my signature I have tried installing VoodooHDA 2.8.2, unfortunately that didn't work. Then I tried patched appleHDA for alc665 from mackintosh Vietnam tool... didn't work.. I haven't find any DSDT patch for audio. Here's my System report for audio and IOReg. Am I missing something in DSDT or any kext or boot flag? EDIT 1: Tried http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/24-applehda-for-alc665/ PATCH It didnt work. EDIT 2 : Switched to Clover. Patched DSDT, Installed the kexts. Voila.. It worked Subwoofer aint working though but fix that soon. Thanks to @The_Village_Idiot, @apianti I will make a list of working/non working soon.
  9. Edit: Updated to Beta 4 just fine, BTW I love this board! It takes a bit of work to get going, but the GA-Z97MX Gaming 5 is a wonderful board for your own, bulkier version of the iMac. Indeed, I just taped mine to the back of my Cinema Display and I can't see the difference. From the front, at least. It's not perfect, at least not yet. I have issues with kernel panics at boot (related to kernel cache and/or patching—I welcome any thoughts or suggestions). I'm not sure if I can fully utilize Apple's online services. And perhaps most importantly for the novice, Yosemite throws in some instability issues and graphical glitches (I didn't experience them in Mavericks). It's not the easiest or most welcoming build and will require patience. But if you can stomach those things it's a superb choice of quality and features. Let's just hope we get full support and stability when Yosemite is released, and that OS X will see official 9-series chipset support before Apple switches everything to ARM or some craziness. The Specs Haswell Core i5 3.5 Ghz CPU 16 GB Corsair 1866 Mhz RAM GeForce 760 MSI ITX Gaming GPU The Features Z97 chipset (As of writing, not used in any Mac but seems to work like a Z87) ALC1150 audio with swappable op-amp Atheros Killer E2201 (I think) gigabit networking 6 SATA III ports, a SATA Express port and I think an M.2 port as well My UEFI BIOS Settings Load optimized defaults (unless you really know what you're doing) XMP #1 Enabled (enabling my 1866 RAM) All boot options set to UEFI or UEFI Only Optional: Enable ErP, ASPM and other features if desired, but only after you've successfully installed and booted (save yourself the headache ) None of what follows is my original work, so I'll be sure to credit the source and provide relevant links. Preparation Obtain the latest version of Clover, the wonderful UEFI boot loader that makes the rest possible. Follow the directions in any Yosemite guide to prepare a USB drive for installation. Install Clover to that drive, following the "For UEFI Motherboards" instructions. Use my config.plist.zip, or take care creating or modifying your own. Store Mieze's superb AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext, toleda's clever CloverALC script, rampagedev's SSDT and of course FakeSMC.kext from HWSensors on your drive. You'll recall the last from the Yosemite guide, no doubt! Build and boot your machine to UEFI/BIOS, and configure your settings (note mine above). Boot your USB drive to the OS X Installer. Refer to Clover's documentation on fixes and kernel boot options if you're having trouble. Post-Installation Installation should run without issue. I recommend partitioning your drive with Disk Utility first, using GPT. After installation, feel free to reboot. Keeping your installer USB attached should allow you to boot your newly installed OS, but... ... You'll need to install Clover on the system drive, so be sure to do so and remember to include your FakeSMC and netwokring kexts for injection. toleda's script should take care of everything for you regarding audio, except he currently requires a manual patch for this particular CODEC. It isn't hard, and the necessary patch is in my config.plist.zip. And you're done! Or at least you're as far as I am . Enjoy.! Troubleshooting I still get kernel panics that I cannot attribute to any particular source (likely audio—it was a pain to get working in Yosemite for me). Sometimes networking doesn't come up. Don't even ask me about Messages, "Convection" or whatever new Apple services are coming out. No guarantees that this build will be easy or worth your time, but I sure enjoyed getting it running. That said, a few considerations for troubleshooting: I start by trying to Safe Boot (hit spacebar in Clover with proper OS selected). Does that work? If not, where are you getting stuck? Check your kernel boot options and other Clover settings, and make sure your kexts are present and in the appropriate directory on your boot drive. Can't get audio to work? I often have to rebuild the kernel cache then reboot. sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions sudo kextcache -Boot -U / Networking is pretty solid thanks to Mieze's kext. But I do sometimes have issues that a reboot or reloading of the kext seems to resolve. Go figure.
  10. I recently built a computer and put a 3tb HDD in it. Because of MBR, Windows excludes 1tb of the 3. So I thought, Why not fill the terribyte with OSX? So I went looking for kexts to support my build: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H Intel Core i7 Haswell 3.5Ghz EVGA GeForce GTX660 S2 2GB GDDR5 TrendNET TEW-643PI PCIe I cannot find a kext for the TrendNET internet card, and sadly the location of my computer cannot get an ethernet cable. I've heard of Lnx2Mac's Realtek driver but it says Lion and Sandy Bridge, and my processor is Haswell. Does anybody know of a driver for the TEW-643PI?
  11. 12. I'm trying to install the driver for EP-N8508 to be used on Yosemite, but all the drivers get installed, the Wireless Utility App crashes without launching. Any idea what is happening and how to fix it?
  13. Hi everbody, At the moment I installed Mac (iatkos L2) and updated it, sound drivers weren't detected (instead of installing drivers with ##### 4.7). So I fix this problem this way: 1) Delete AppleHDA, install VoodoHDA and repair permissions. 2) Restart 3) Install Realtek 898 drivers (appropiate for my motherboard) 4) Restart After restarting, sound drivers were detected but I can't hear anything. Quick Time and iTunes don't plays anything by clicking play (VLC and Youtube works). I have diferent sound outputs (look at the attached picture) in my sound configuration panel and I try everyone of them. I also try to change the mini jac position but with the same result. Does someone knows what's happening? My computer: CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 3.60Ghz Box Socket 2011 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3 Nvidia GTS 450 My MAC: iAtkos L2 (10.7.5 updated)
  14. Hello. I've bought an Edimax EW-7822ULC card (link) that has the Realtek RTL8822BU chipset. It comes with a driver "com.realtek.driver.RtWlanU" and a configuration utility called "StatusBarApp". They both appear to work but the configuration utility is too simple. For example, when the Wireless network supports 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz but both frequencies broadcast the same SSID, I can't seem to force it to choose the 5Ghz band. Most other devices be it phones or laptops manage to connect to it fine. Even those that start on 2.4 eventually move to 5 automatically, but not this card. Is there some other utility, command line or graphical, that I can use on MacOS High Sierra to drive this card and make it use the 5Ghz band? Thank you and best regards.
  15. It's been a long time since I've tinkered with my build - Lion 10.7.3 Never updated to a higher version since, IMHO, my build is perfect (well save for sleep, but I really don't need it). It has also been a couple of weeks since I last used Lion, but this morning I just could not connect to the internet. when I check the System Configuration, it says my PC is unplugged (I'm using DSL) but when I check the back of my CPU, the cable is physically connected to the ethernet/LAN port. I've unplugged-plugged it just to check if that will work, but no results. I can verify that I have a connection to the internet when I boot to my Win7 (which is what I'm using right now). I have not updated anything major (not even updating to 10.7.5). It was only the Sophos Anti-Virus that was updated the last time I used my Lion and even after the update, the Lion was still working - I was downloading some Guitar Lessons via Garage Band. so any solutions or anybody encountered this problem before? I downloaded the RTL8111 kext here I'll try to rebuild the kext because I can't remember if I used the "many animals" utility from "that famous site" to install my kexts before. I did see that there is a new driver for the RTL8111, however I don't want to mess around with it as of the moment because my problems become more complicated. It might be my last solution though. Thanks so much for any help.
  16. Hello! I have an Asus Q550LF running Mavericks 10.9.0, Niresh Edition. Currently, I have most things working, but a priority is audio. It is a Realtek ALC668. It has two inputs and three outputs: - Combined Mic/Headphones port (1 in, 1 out) - Built-in Microphone (in) - 3 front laptop speakers (out) - Subwoofer port (out) [priority=0] I have read some basic guides on how to patch the AppleHDA, but I have no idea where to start as this is my first ever Hackintosh. I have Windows 8, Ubuntu, and Clover all as available tools to help me fix this. Can someone please try to walk me through how to create a KEXT for my PC? Thanks!!

    Need Network Kexts

Hello, Im running Hackintosh 10.11 El Capitan on my laptop. I wanted to be able to use WiFi and Ethernet in my hackintosh, and here are my device ids (in Windows) of my network drivers : Wired : VEN_10EC&DEV_8168 (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller) Wireless : VEN_14E4&DEV_4365 (Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter) If anyone could help me search/make these network kexts, please do so, and post it here. 22. No encuentro ningún método para hacerla funcionar, he probado varios kext y nada : / De antemano muchas gracias amigos, cuídense y éxitos!!!
  23. Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out why my card doesn't work anymore after updating my mac installation from 10.7.2 to 10.7.4 using a combined version of the mac I downloaded from apple.com. My network card is a Realtek RTL8168. I've tried different kexts and packages so far but to no success. I had 10.7.4 installed before and I managed to make it work very easily last time. I just installed a kext using the ###### app. I have built and rebuilt the permission over and over again. Still no success. Does anyone have any suggestions to what else I should try to make it work? Thanks in advance. Just in case you need my computer information: Compaq CQ61-112SL (kinda bad ) Graphics: GMA4500HD - Mobile Intel 4 Series Chipset Family Wireless: AR5007 802.11 b/g (can't make this work either) Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168 CPUs: 2 X Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3400 @2.16GHz

    Card Reader Dell 7720

DSDT.aml_kapot.zip DSDT.aml.zip
