Hardware:

  • GigaByte Z77N-WiFi (ALC892)
  • GSkill D3 2400MHz 8GB x 2
  • SATA SSD TopMore 2TB
  • GigaByte Titan Black 6GB

Software:

  • High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G14042)

 

I fixed pinconfigration and node path from codec.

Speaker EAPD = 21470c02

 

Mic MuteGPIO = 1342242840

 

Green LineOut:
20 → 12 → 2

 

Pink Mic:
09 → 34 → 24

 

I patched AppleHDA.kext manually.

 

LayoutID = 36, injected by clover device part

 

Clover KextsToPatch: Find 8508EC10 Replace 9208EC10

 

I installed patched kext and reboot, ofcouse I repaired permissions and rebuilt caches.

Everything shows right but there is no sound.

I also use the same data to applealc with alcid=1, it works fine.

 

I do not know which step is wrong when I patched applehda.kext.

Hi @Chocofate C are you tested VoodooHDA.kext ? Have some feels versions about old and new hardwares.

Easy installer patcher, here: 

Need remove AppleALC or any kexts related with sound before run patcher.

My fixed data from codec can work fine with applealc ~ so i just wanna know the reason why my patched applehda cannot make sound ~
