It is similar to GPRW to XPRW patch? That patch also uses a SSDT-GPRW. Your patch doesn't require the SSDT? But the macOS needs a PRW method right? deeveedee
@MaLd0n This hack is a BEAST! Impressive. Are you now disabling _PRW methods (renaming them to XPRW without replacing them) for all of your hacks, or just this one? 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360341-cinebench-results-intel-core-ultra-9-285k-on-macos-sequoia/page/3/#findComment-2843559 Share on other sites

It works fine with the Z790. Do you have any solution to it? MaLd0n
Just create a simple patch for that. In my case Z890 on _SB.PC02.XHCI._PRW Find: _PRW on _SB.PC02.XHCI - 255F505257 and Replace with XPRW - 2558505257 But if not solve this problem u need check what _prw cause it, is not only from USB device(XHCI) 1 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360341-cinebench-results-intel-core-ultra-9-285k-on-macos-sequoia/page/3/#findComment-2843624 Share on other sites

With the GPRW to XPRW or the PRW to XPRW patch, if i put the system to sleep and wake it using the power button, the sleep/wake always work. But if i wake it using keyboard/mouse and then put the system to sleep again, it fails. On my Z790, it has AQC113. The sleep only works if i remove ethernet. Any idea how to fix that? The Tech
@MaLd0n What makes no sense to me is when using GPRW to XPRW, it should disable the wake from XHCI but in my case, it still wakes using keyboard press and then enters loop. I tested the PRW patch of yours and still no help. The interesting thing is for the first try, it wakes fine using the keyboard but then if i put the system to sleep, it fails. How to fix this? deeveedee
@The Tech To be honest, I don't understand the problem (which may be because I don't have experience with your system). My personal experience with desktop systems is that they don't need _PRW patching and they wake normally with a USB mouse / keyboard when the correct pmsettings are applied (but again, I'm not familiar with your system). Are you familiar with this? Are you familiar with this? Well, mine Z890 sleeps and wakes fine if i use the power button on the chassis and it works everytime. But if i wake it using the Keyboard or Mouse, and try to put the system to sleep again, then it enters sleep loop (tries to sleep and wakes up) and this keeps happening until i wake it up. Already tried those fix but no help.
