bwhsh8r
with the gb of ram and a core 2 or core 2 duo processor, hell yes... but the upcoming cs3 is being made for x86 macs so you might want to upgrade when its released, because it will be alot faster. and enjoy the mac Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36031-mac-mini-and-photoshop-cs/#findComment-256368 Share on other sites

asap18
on my macbook core duo 1.83 ghz the cs3 beta opens within 3 seconds. Make sure you use cs3 and not cs. bitblaster
why is that? Plus, doesn't CS3 expire? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36031-mac-mini-and-photoshop-cs/#findComment-256514 Share on other sites
asap18
Photoshop CS and CS2 are written using PowePC Code. The Intel Processor does not accept the same instructions, so Rosetta has to translate every line of code for the Intel Processor. This makes it dramatically slower and some say unusable. However, CS3 is Universal with PowerPC code for PowerPC macs and x86 instructions for Intel Macs. There are many cracks out now that eliminate the expiration date on CS3 beta.
