Hi @droples Since few years, Opencore replace HFSPlus.efi by his own driver called "OpenHfsPlus.efi". Do you try it ? They didn't replace it. They just didn't include it in their releases because it's not OpenSource. But it's still faster as the Open Source one. And afaik, it's only needed for installing macOS via USB flash drive, not for booting from APFS volumes. meg2014
I was able to upgraded to Beta 4 but I have another problem. None of my apps are keeping configurations - any adjustments, or changes last only during the current session and then, once rebooted, they revert. Another example would be that every time I boot, I get an Apple ID login prompt. I must have logged in 20 times, but each time I reboot, I end up back at this same prompt. Permissions seem normal. Anybody else come across this issue? I am running AMFIpass v1.4 and OC 095 Edited December 2, 2023 by meg2014 Solution: Reinstalled Sonoma Beta and changed ID, after that problem fixed Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357920-pre-release-macos-sonoma-142/page/4/#findComment-2814069 Share on other sites

Sometimes, an update mismatch can cause these kinds of quirks. Also, how about checking your system's date and time settings? If they're off, it can sometimes mess with app configurations and logins.
