Thank you! But I've already been through this...

Hi @droples

Since few years, Opencore replace HFSPlus.efi  by his own driver called "OpenHfsPlus.efi". Do you try it ?

They didn't replace it. They just didn't include it in their releases because it's not OpenSource. But it's still faster as the Open Source one. And afaik, it's only needed for installing macOS via USB flash drive, not for booting from APFS volumes.

My FX-6300 hackintosh can boot by legacy Clover 5155 with ProvideCurrentCpuInfo quirk enabled without blank screen issue now after its GPU RX-560 replaced by R9 270.

No more need RadeonInit enabled now !

My config-5155-M5A.plist is attached for your reference.

OCLP 1.2.1 can't patch 14.2 beta 3. It causes the windowserver to crash

If booting into safe mode doesn't work you can try to restore the last snapshot via recovery, diskutil and terminal funkery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNcjmvzS0Vo&list=PLHvicvzslKo5bceSR_N4Rl7jXsFA8VSSo&index=1

Yes, this is true, but the problem with legacy loading remains.

The last commit on which legacy loading works is 11a33b4.

On c65fb5b you can perform a legacy loading if you use a legacy boot from 11a33b4.

I was able to upgraded to Beta 4 but I have another problem.  None of my apps are keeping configurations - any adjustments, or changes last only during the current session and then, once rebooted, they revert.

Another example would be that every time I boot, I get an Apple ID login prompt.  I must have logged in 20 times, but each time I reboot, I end up back at this same prompt.

Permissions seem normal.

Anybody else come across this issue?

I am running AMFIpass v1.4 and OC 095

I don't have such problems. I use OCLP-1.3.0, OC- 097 (commit  c65fb5b) and instead of a kext I use a boot-args entry.

I'd also suggest to make sure your apps are all updated and compatible with the Beta 4 version. Sometimes, an update mismatch can cause these kinds of quirks.

Also, how about checking your system's date and time settings? If they're off, it can sometimes mess with app configurations and logins.
