hi i would like to install big sur.

i have a problem with the graphics.

black screen when loading graphics. 

I am using dvi to hdmi

1. Apply a patch that changes all Connector Types to HDMI in Framebuffer.

 

2. Try adding igfxagdc=0 boot arg.

Make signature.

Try to set ig-platform-id = 0x193B0000 - it is for using HDMI port on HD530 graphics.

Set SMBIOS as iMac17,1

both ways don't work now I have the effect the whole screen is blurry light blue

What is the model of your CPU?

Use ig-platform-id 12190000

take a look at the device properties for the iGPU

config.plist

But I don't think you can get the DVI to work only by adding those values to your config.

Do you have external GPU?

Make sure the IGPU Multi-Monitor item is set to Enabled in the BIOS settings.

 

And, add igfxagdc=0 boot arg (or disable-agdc property) in the EFI provided by ichelash above.

now everything works as it should.

I have one more problem.

it's about FTP and SMB connection

SMB and FTP is slow to read.

and when i come from windows it works.

 

 

as if Mac os could not cope with SMB, the write is about 110MB/s and the read only 27-40MB/s how can I improve it
