gio91ber
Is there any way to boot macOS on Virtualbox 7.0.8? I've tried following steps from here and I managed to boot the install image, initialize the disk and install the OS. As soon as the machine reboots though it reboots from the install image, so if I try to remove the iso image the VM can’t boot as the VM disk apparently has an empty EFI partition so the VM efi can't find anything to boot from. Is there any workaroud? I've tried using opencore but tried a few configurations but as soon as I managed to overcome OC errors I ended up just crashing the VM (which closes abruptly with an error message). Couldn’t find help meither in offical nor in unofficial message boards. gio91ber
I've used the standard EFI folder from OpenCore-0.9.2-RELEASE from opencore github and sample config file. gmlopes
Guys, have any of you seen progress on this front? I'm stuck in the ventura/virtualbox boot loop for days now. Can you confirm, or give tips on whether OpenCore can be used to solve this issue on Intel i9? Thank a bunch Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356784-boot-ventura-on-virtualbox-708/#findComment-2810507 Share on other sites
