Yes it seems they pulled it. And the update fails to install on Z690 with MacPro7,1, it was ok on iMac19,1 on my Kabylake the other day. NVRAM reset fixed the installation issue. On Ventura I don’t have the 1 alert badge using RestrictEvents. The 13.4.1 (c) RSR appeared for me and applied without issues on my HackMini8,1 (OC 0.9.3, RestrictEvents 1.1.2, revpatch=sbvmm). I think there has been misinformation about a requirement for RestrictEvents 1.1.3. Some platforms may need OC 0.9.4, although I have seen no evidence of the need for anything newer than OC 0.9.3 on my platforms. I still use Monterey as my main macOS. It's possible that discussion here is about shows up this same alert again? Yes, it is correct, I was getting smaller update installers in Software Update from Monterey to Ventura you can see in the screenshot in the first post, for instance: and several other releases of macOS Ventura were offered on Monterey as smaller incremental updates (I don't recall up until which version exactly) but now I do have to download the full installer in software update. deeveedee Posted July 13, 2023 Share Posted July 13, 2023 (edited) @Cyberdevs I haven't been paying enough attention to know whether I was seeing smaller incremental packages when upgrading from one major macOS to the next. However, there are multiple reasons why OTA would "force" a full installer. One reason would be if your APFS volume seal is broken (i.e. you enabled write permissions to the root volume). Since my HackBookPro6,2 is patched with OCLP, my root APFS volume seal is broken, so OTA always downloads a full installer on my HackBookPro6,2 (even for incremental macOS updates). I'm not sure of the other reasons, but I do know that OTA attempts to be "smart" about which installer (incremental or full) to download.
