I have tried two different versions of Virtual PC and they both did the same thing as yours. Because it was programmed for PPC not for Intel. I found inside in the program a log which says "bad cpu type"...so probable should be ported for macIntel. As it is, I wouldn't expect the current VPC7 to be of any usable speed EVEN IF somehow it was made to run under OSX86. Basically it would be x86->PPC->x86 double-emulation... PPC->x86 was slow already, and you want Rosetta to emulate it BACK to x86? Scary. Technically, VPC7 requires G3 minimum. Rosetta emulates G3. "bad CPU type" sounds like Rosetta isn't 'fully' emulating G3...
