There needs to be a separate VPC release for OSX86. As it is, I wouldn't expect the current VPC7 to be of any usable speed EVEN IF somehow it was made to run under OSX86. Basically it would be x86->PPC->x86 double-emulation... PPC->x86 was slow already, and you want Rosetta to emulate it BACK to x86? Scary. :P

 

Technically, VPC7 requires G3 minimum. Rosetta emulates G3. "bad CPU type" sounds like Rosetta isn't 'fully' emulating G3...
