Well, ok, iPhoto and iWeb will run on a G3, BUT you hahve to dig through the install CD to find them.

iPhoto doesn't install on a G3. Or at least it didn't on mine. To be honest I think I’ve also remember reading on many places it has to run on a minimum of a G4. I assume that also applies to the rest of iLife appz.

So I need a good (or better) iPhoto replacement.

Anyone?

If the installer would refuse to install the applications, you should try installing them on your hackintosh -or another mac- and copying them to your iMac. Also don't forget to check the installation log and copy the necessary files installed with iLife. Good luck.

It works fine on my hackingtosh but it wont work on a G3. Doesn't meet the minimum system requirements which is a G4 processor.

Does anyone know of an alternative which will work on a G3 and is just as good?

What gives you that idea?

But I must warn you that you can't run iWeb without enough ram. It will open, but menus and everyting will remain inactive. Been there, done that.
