Hypercharg Vex Posted June 7, 2022 Share Posted June 7, 2022 efi: Babyyoda777/Hackintosh-Big-Sur-Pavillion-x360: Files for my Hackintosh Laptop (github.com) Hardware: CPU: i3 1005G1 GPU: Intel UHD (G1) - Acceleration working Keyboard: PS/2 Trackpad: ELAN 0722 Camera: HP Wide Vision USB Ports: 2x USB A 3.0, 1x USB C Touchscreen: yes Bluetooth and WiFi: Both Intel (no airdrop) Audio: Realtek ALC287 So I have managed to dump audio nodes codecs etc and narrowed it down to the following two: MacOS (left, no audio), Linux (right, working audio) I tried running: alc-verb 0x20 0x78 0xffe1 based on the information above, but audio still doesn't work. My layout id is 11. Any help to fix is appreciated. Hi there, I believe you need to use AppleALC v.1.7.1 onwards because the OC team had fixed a Info.plist file rename that was related to ALC287. To use, we would simply add either alcid=11 to the NVRAM boot-arg OR add layout-id to the ALC287 PCIRoot Device Properties in config.plist with a value of 0B000000 and Data as Type. Hypercharg Vex Posted June 9, 2022 Author Share Posted June 9, 2022 I am on MacOS 11.6.6 so while VoodooHDA loads into system preferences it says no device found. As for AppleALC, I am using the v1.7.2 and have already added alcid=11 to boot-args. I have dumped the above coifs as I have already passed both above mentioned stages and audio still doesn't work. 😕 Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
