efi: Babyyoda777/Hackintosh-Big-Sur-Pavillion-x360: Files for my Hackintosh Laptop (github.com)

Hardware:

CPU: i3 1005G1

GPU: Intel UHD (G1) - Acceleration working

Keyboard: PS/2

Trackpad: ELAN 0722

Camera: HP Wide Vision

USB Ports: 2x USB A 3.0, 1x USB C

Touchscreen: yes

Bluetooth and WiFi: Both Intel (no airdrop)

Audio: Realtek ALC287

So I have managed to dump audio nodes codecs etc and narrowed it down to the following two:  Screenshot 2022-06-07 at 19 08 56

MacOS (left, no audio), Linux (right, working audio)

I tried running:

alc-verb 0x20 0x78 0xffe1

based on the information above, but audio still doesn't work. My layout id is 11. Any help to fix is appreciated.

Hi there,

I believe you need to use AppleALC v.1.7.1 onwards because the OC team had fixed a Info.plist file rename that was related to ALC287.
To use, we would simply add either alcid=11 to the NVRAM boot-arg OR add layout-id to the ALC287 PCIRoot Device Properties in config.plist with a value of 0B000000 and Data as Type.

I am on MacOS 11.6.6 so while VoodooHDA loads into system preferences it says no device found. As for AppleALC, I am using the v1.7.2 and have already added alcid=11 to boot-args. I have dumped the above coifs as I have already passed both above mentioned stages and audio still doesn't work. 😕 Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
